Museum Hours:
Tuesday through Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Monday: Closed for regular house tours except for large groups with prior reservation. Offices open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Last tour begins one hour before closing.

Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Easter Sunday.
Admission is charged. Groups over 10 people need to reserve a tour date and time.

Directions

From Nashville:
Take I-24 East to Murfreesboro Exit 78B (approximately 32 miles), which will loop around and bring you toward Murfreesboro. You will be on Old Fort Parkway/Hwy. 96. When you arrive at the main intersection at Broad Street (Chicago Style Gyro’s will be on the corner), turn right and go to the next traffic light at Main Street and turn left. This will take you to the square. Go halfway around the courthouse and take East Main Street to the third traffic light, which is Maney Avenue and turn left. Follow Maney Avenue all the way until it turns into the driveway for Oaklands.

From Chattanooga:
Take I-24 West to Murfreesboro Exit 81 (approximately 100 miles). At the end of the ramp, turn right. You will be on Hwy. 231/S. Church Street. Continue on Church Street to the Murfreesboro square. At the square, you will turn right on East Main Street. Go to the third traffic light, which is Maney Avenue and turn left. Follow Maney Avenue until it turns into the driveway for Oaklands.

From I-40 at Lebanon:
Take Exit 235 at State Route 840 (just outside of Lebanon) to Murfreesboro. Take SR 840 approximately 21 miles to the Murfreesboro / Smyrna Exit 55. Follow the signs to Murfreesboro, which will put you on Hwy. 41/70S. Stay on this road for approximately 4 miles. Turn left on East Main Street. This will take you to the square. Go halfway around the courthouse and take East Main Street to the third traffic light, which is Maney Avenue and turn left. Follow Maney Avenue until it turns into the driveway for Oaklands.

From I-65 at Franklin:
Take State Route 840 (just outside of Franklin) to I-24 (approximately 30 miles) and follow the signs to Murfreesboro/Chattanooga. Take I-24 East to Murfreesboro Exit 78B (approximately 4 miles.) This will loop around and bring you towards Murfreesboro. You will be on Old Fort Parkway Hwy. 96. When you arrive at the intersection at Broad Street (Chicago Style Gyros will be on the corner), turn right and go to the next traffic light at Main Street and turn left. This will take you to the square. Go halfway around the courthouse and take East Main Street to the third traffic light, which is Maney Avenue and turn left. Follow Maney Avenue until it turns into the driveway for Oaklands.
